Construction has begun on the Heman Drummond Center of Innovation in Walker County. The career tech school will serve up to 2,100 high school students from both the Walker County and Jasper City school systems. The 120,000 sq ft facility on Industrial Way will offer workplace simulations, hands-on training, and career-focused education tailored to meet the workforce needs across Alabama. A special thank you to the Drummond family and everyone who helped make this transformative project a reality. #Our67
