THE ROAD AHEAD: It was an exciting day in Pinson to celebrate the Northern Beltline infrastructure project, which will increase commerce and save lives in Jefferson County.
The first segment of the Northern Beltline will run from SR-75 to SR-79 in Pinson with an expected completion date in late 2026. The Northern Beltline will be a 52-mile interstate that connects I-59 in northern Jefferson County to I-459 near Bessemer. The improvements will create an interstate loop around Birmingham known as I-42. When we connect communities, we connect our economy. #Our67
