We had an excellent business development update at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. Airport leadership showcased improvements made to make the airport more customer friendly. BHM now has a satisfaction rate of 94% to 96%.
Southwest Airlines also provided an update, highlighting two nonstop fares they added last year. One of the biggest takeaways from the presentation is that if you want service at an airport, you have to fly at that airport. It is business. Airlines will not come to a location if they cannot generate revenue needed. Let’s all strive to fly out of our Alabama-based airports so we can continue to grow services. #Our67 #FlyBHM
